WHEN DO WE OPEN? OUR CRITERA
Center Commitment Jan 1, 2025 - March 31, 2025
Criteria Change Effective Jan 24, 2025
THE CENTER SHALL OPEN, when there is to be expected SNOW or RAIN in any amount during the night or day REGARDLESS of temperature.
THE CENTER SHALL OPEN , when the US National Weather Service Albuquerque issues a Non-Precipitation Warning and/or Extreme Cold Warning.
NOTE: THE NPWABQ DOES NOT DESIGNATE THE CENTER OPEN CLOSE STATUS NOR HAS ANY AFFILIATION WITH US OR ENDORSEMENT! The Roswell Warming Center simply uses their public information to help us make better informed decisions on when to open.
Although we will make every effort to open under these circumstances it is NOT guaranteed as many problems may arise such as lack of volunteers, or lack of venue. Because the waring centers location is borrowed, there may be times it is not available to us. WE ARE NOT OPEN DAILY!
